Anyone's having problems with contacts sync with Google? Everything else sync's fine but contacts won't, and I don't know why

It is possible that the Google Services need to be updated. One quick way that I know to do that is to try and install Google Hangouts. If the Google Services need updating you will see the notification in the status bar and then select it and follow the prompts. I've had no luck just doing a search through the Play Store, but that seems to be a work around.

"If I were you I would remove the whole google account from the phone and delete all contacts. Boot into recovery, wipe cache, reboot and add google account."

Found this solution among others on this thread.

What's going on with losing ROOT? In the unofficial 01-04 I simply reintalled my SuperSU and all was good. With the new Nightly's 01-05 and 01-06 with a clean install or a dirty one I am losing my SU privileges. Any one else having this prob?

It was my mistake. I didn't check the Dev Options. Root access was disabled. I'm happy now ;)

I have a bootloader unlocked XT1058 running an unofficial CM12, one of the earliest stable ones that was released back in November. Would I be safe to downgrade to a 4.4.x firmware and regain my Moto Display? I miss it too much to make Lollipop worth it yet. :(

Your ROM is the only one that I can get to work

Hello,

I flashed your ROM when it first came out and no problem getting it to work. I can't get any of the CM ROM's to get past the loading icon. Do you plan to keep up on this ROM for the moto x? Thanks
