Hi again, AuSSiELaMbChOpS,

I turned off alogrec and the sleep of death returned. I rebooted the phone and copied the /proc/last_kmsg and attached it to this post. I don't really know what to do with it. At the end it says no errors detected. I would really appreciate any help here. Thanks!
There is nothing that really stands out to me in the log, if the issue returned immediately after turning off the recorder then for some reason your device is going to sleep and getting stuck there. If alogrec was recording it would have held a wakelock to keep the phone awake so you didn't have any issues whilst it was running.

You could try changing the I/O scheduler in Settings -> Performance -> I/O Scheduler but I don't really think it will make much of a difference, do you flash any other mods or just the rom & gapps?

The issue did return immediately. The curious thing is that this issue keeps happening regadless if the stock firmware, PACMAN ROM, or CM12 is running. I did change the I/O scheduler from FIOPS to CFQ. There have been no issues since. It seems to have resolved the issue! Thanks!!!!
