kindle fire 2 binary root question

Accidentally allowed my Kindle fire 2 to update itself after I had rooted, but rooted again with no problem with version 10.5.1.
This user had success on the same version as mine. I have the program loaded and device plugged in but can't seem to find an option on the program that even prompts my fire to recover. I'm experienced with roofing and flashing many devices but this one is throwing me a loop. Any help appreciated. Cm11 is my end goal.

I've got the same problem. i bought a KF HD 7 and want to root and customize it but there is no option to. It has 11.3.1.0_user310084920 software and when i plug it to the computer with enabled ADB and start the runme.bat it stops at the moment when it starts the daemon and thats it. No recovery popup or anything else. Any idea?
i used Root_with_Restore_by_Bin4ry_v36

Well it seems there is no way, i am really pissed. i payed 89 euro for an 2013 Kindle Fire HD 7 because i thought it would be easier to root it, if i would have known it is not possible i had bought the brand new HD 7 for 10 bucks more.

Q&A for [Root][Working 10.3.1]Kindle Fire 2 Root made easy

Hey, I just tried to root my kindle and it did... stuff (like rebooted twice) and it shows no difference beside the fact my apps are gone (they are in the cloud, dont worry) but it did bring up this weird thing that is called 'VPNDialoge' and it looks like a coding thing and it lets me type in things, is this meaning it is rooted  if so, what do i type in?
