Hi.

I also have the problem with my Xperia Tablet S that it won't go over the blue waves after the Sony logo startup.
I tried the hard resert (Vol + / Power), but it did not work.

The Unbricker copy procedures seemed to work well, but when I put the SD card into the Tablet again it does not show me the "Cold Booting" text.
It - again- shows the blue waves and nothing else.

Should I start the tablet with the SD Card with (Vol - / Power) or (Vol + / Power) for the Recovery Menu and than "Update with SD card" ???

What am I doing wrong. Can you help me.
Thanks.

Xperia S SGPT1211

HI

Problem with my tablet, it boots up normally but it constantly gives an error
" System UI has been Stopped" If I press ok it changes to "OLS has Stopped"
I rooted earlier but installed a program which allowed me to change the density of the pixels, I thought un - rooting would solve the issue but Noap
And it appears in a big font.

Tried company full reset using the power + vol key, it goes thru the whole spill of formatting everything, but comes back to the same problem
Tried your method, it does pretty much everything apart from where it says remove SD and then press enter to reboot comes up with an error.
Restarted for same error again
Suggestions ??

Please wait...
How do you backup the internal memory when the device cannot boot up normally to the Android OS interface?
Is there a method with a USB cable or something? :(

I don't have Blue Waves, I have Yellow/Orange waves after the Sony logo.
Just keeps animating the Left to Right Yellow/Orange waves!
:(

Hello,
I have been trying to unbrick my Xperia Tablet S but ran into a problem with the unbrick tool.
It seems to be running fine up until the following:

[*] Take SD card out of tab and press enter...

Then it reads:

[*] Rebooting...
-exec '/system/bin/sh failed: No such file or directory (2) -

[*] Finished!
[*] Press any key to exit.

At this point the tablet doesn't reboot it stays on the Sony logo with cold boot text in the top left corner.
(And yes I'm sure I removed the SD card before pressing enter.)

I beleive I might have a problem with ADB drivers.
With the SD card inserted and cold boot text showing I see the device as Andriod phone/ Adb interface(something similar) in the device manager.
I can also find it with the adb devices command.
However if I power it on without the SD card (only Sony logo on screen) I see it as Portable device/MTP USB-device in the device manager, and I can't find it with adb devices command.

If anyone has any suggestions please share it with me.

Not working on SGPT1211

Hi Condi,

Thanks for the great work.

Unfortunately the generated SD card does not boot on my Xperia Tablet S (SGPT1211)

I tried several SD cards
(Sandisk 4GB Ultra, Fuyutsu HC8GB and Samsung mircos 2gb)

What else could be wrong ?

Cold Booting Text

Hello,

I used the unbricker and everything seems to go fine, but when I get to the point to
"Put SD card to tablet .... etc ..."
I don't know what you mea with [Cold-Booting] text ???
- Is this the recovery menu of the tablet, after pressing Power and Vol+ ?
- Or is it the blue waves after the Sony startup logo ?
- Or anything else ?

I tried both of it and waited long, but nothing happens?

Can you please help me.
Thanks.

Won't recognize drive letter

Hi Fellas,

I tried the tool and it works fine until writing on SD. I tried a few but the problem is different.
The script says "invalid drive letter" but then begins to write on the SD Card.
Unfortunately Windows can't read the SD Card after the procedure - Windows wants it to be formatted again.
Therefore trying to boot the Tablet (SGPT1211 de/s) with the SD Card has no effect.
What can I do? Seems to be a small issue.
Thank you in advance!

Hi, my Xperia Tablet S was brick as yours and I tried since feww days to use the UNBRICKER too, unsuccessfully.
My boot was blocked on the SONY logo then nothing happens.
And here is the miracle !!!
I found this topic :
http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1687429
I downloaded the zip file related to my XPERIA Tablet S with the good region (FR for me)
Then I put this zip file on a SD card, renamed it in update.zip and insert it in my tablet.
I boot my tablet in recovery mode ( hold vol+ button, maintain the hold, hold and release the power button, still maintaining vol+ button and when the menu appears release the vol+ button.
choose to boot update from SDcard then choose the update.zip file and yeeeeeeeeeeeees ! It works for me !
Be carefull to choose the right zip file !!!
Enjoy
