AW: [Kernel][ICS/JB]Dorimanx Q&A / Discussion thread | Non-development posts

Hello All,

This is about FM Radio issue with Dorimanx Kernel.

...

Many users have faced this FM Radio bug Can anybody confirms this?

...

Any help in this regard will be appriciated. Other users who are having Problems with FM Radio Please give their input.
I am posting this because FM Radio is a Feature I am using on Daily basis and I want to use it with Dorimanx Kernel as well.

Thank You All.

I had also issues with Spirit FM Unlocked.
Switching to Spirit FM Radio Light solved this. So, maybe its App related not kernel???

Can anyone try and confirm this?

ROM: RootBox nightly
Kernel: DorimanX 9.11.1

Up threshold at min freq to 60% is now by default for sleep gov, one thing less to configure  (I've always set it like that)

What about giving a try to the performance profile, it's a good start ;).

Chameleon 3.0 doesn't use preload. So is dual boot with another non - preload rom ok?
I'll use Chameleon as primary rom.
Here i'll quote one person, but I ask once again to be sure.
yes. chamaleon is possible in dual boot- partition preload is empty
i have tried in 2rom

Well performance already overclocks your gpu. Altough you can go to stweaks and overclock way more but it's not safe anymore to use voltages high enough to power 500 and 520 mhz (can't rwmeber the exact frequencys. But if you use default, switch to performance-profile and the game gets laggier. Well thats weird. Maybe a different rom would help?

@ dorimanx what do you think of an extra option to disable hardware keys, when slide2awake is on, when screen off?
Idk if it's possible, or if it depends on the rom..

Then we would use it more:)
And maybe the best security:p

AW: [Kernel][ICS/JB]Dorimanx Q&A / Discussion thread | Non-development posts

There's a fix for this! I just asked in the Neat ROM thread, and its to do with the kernel. I flashed the fix and its all good now.

Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2

and the fix being.....

still happens on 8.12.
weirdly the videoplayer works if called from e.g. facebook but it doesn't work if you open it without a video and just click the app icon

    doriamnx forgot to update title?

i dont forget, i am taking timeout, till kernel settle down and people will do some debug.

i have busy days at my real job, so try to do all you can, or revert to last stable for your rom kernel, or stock.

next update will take time to release.

    Kernel change logs

I see a lot of questions, especially in the development thread, that could be avoided if people read the change logs.
Since a lot of kernel releases are considered beta versions Dori doesn't update the change logs on the development threads OP with these. This makes it sometimes difficult for people to find them.

In an attempt to bring the number off those repeat “will this work” questions down I made an overview of the change logs of all recent versions including the betas

I will do my best to keep this overview updated whenever a new version comes out.

    Kernel change logs:

    8.14 + 9.14
    8.13 + 9.13
    8.12 + 9.12
    8.11 + 9.11
    8.10 + 9.10

    Older kernel change logs:
