[Q&A] [ROM][OFFICIAL] BlissPop v3.2 [D855/0/2][ls990][vs985] 05/06

Hey guys!
Does anyone else got this thing when you download the " latest " version , it installs a 1855 version instead of the new one?
I downloaded the newest update from the update center but it just installed an 'older' build..

Having terrible battery life with this ROM. Installed the G Apps and the ROM etc and the phone just drains faster then a crack heads benifits. Also, when trying to add widgets onto the home screen I'm just getting a lock up..

Any advice?

Thermal throttle

I'm almost a month now on Bliss, and congrats to devs, the Rom is the best, so much options, fast and stable... though i have small concern, lately with temperatures rising because it's spring :), my phone (D855) gets warmer than before... What's the limit of temperature when starts thermal throttling in Bliss default (777) kernel, is it 80°c, and how can I set it to 60°c (stock is 60°c if I'm not mistaken)?

Now...a member, friend of mine here at xda suggested me to create a new thread for this specific so called "1080p mod" ...I am still thinking about this atm. and @tobitege i'm sorry if this is a bit OT but I just wanna hear/read opinions on this thought....what do you guys/girls think of it?
Thanks;)

Would definitely be useful to have a dedicated thread for it, a place for people to discuss optimum resolutions and DPIs for different scenarios and such, maybe even a dedicated thread for custom DPIs and Resolutions if there isn't one already (I'm not aware of one) as this is only meant to be a BlissPop dev thread (But we're a wild community so sometimes we get off topic :p )
But yeah, if you make a thread for it and give it off as a Mod with a guide on how to set it up in the OP for the thread, I reckon it'd work well! I for one have a few questions about it but won't post them here just so we don't get too off the OT.

Those threads already exist... This, as informative as it is, isn't groundbreaking news ;)

Q&A for [ROM][OFFICIAL] BlissPop v3.2 [D855/0/2][ls990][vs985] 05/06

Some developers prefer that questions remain separate from their main development thread to help keep things organized. Placing your question within this thread will increase its chances of being answered by a member of the community or by the developer.

Before posting, please use the forum search and read through the discussion thread for [ROM][OFFICIAL] BlissPop v3.2 [D855/0/2][ls990][vs985] 05/06. If you can't find an answer, post it here, being sure to give as much information as possible (firmware version, steps to reproduce, logcat if available) so that you can get help.

Thanks for understanding and for helping to keep XDA neat and tidy! :)

This zip is the best thing you can do to your aosp rom. The difference is huge.
Dont even try the lenovo camera. Many bugs and frequent crashes.
The only downside is that device gets quite toasty after couple of pictures and REALLY eats battery, but quality over everything. Even 4k works fine!

After flashing the last blisspop rom it keeps asking me to update, even though i have the latest version installed, why is that?

Are you talking about snap camera?

For all the OT, like this^^

Theres is now a LG-G2 Ⓛⓞⓤⓝⓖⓔ to discuss such things:good:

Even though this is a Q&A for the BlissPop v3.3 [D855/0/2][ls990][vs985], it is not a general how to thread.

    Thank you :good:
You really send G3 users to a G2 lounge? Wtf is xda's problem with people discussing issues even in the Q&A threads? Do you really expect all of us to simply become developers and start talking code only here? Give us a break!
I totally understand and respect the Developers desire to keep the development threads clean but expecting the Q&A threads to work the same is just insane. As is the fact that you are classifying OT on such a thread and telling people to go to a longe that is not even for their phone.
After a while, all talk will be OT, even in these lounges....

    Attention, attention.... :D

I've uploaded new D850 and D852 builds, check our download server or "Updates" in About Phone... changelog is pretty much the same as today's D855 update post.

    Good night! :D

GAAP are necessary to 5.0 or 5.1?

It is advised to use 5.1-based Gapps on a 5.1-based Rom, yes. Unless you're a FC junky, in that case use random Gapps and be thrilled :good:
