[Q&A] TouchWiz Theming Question Thread

This thread is dedicated to TouchWiz theming questions. Theming the S4 is similar, but not identical, across the major carriers. So, I thought it would be best if we had one here for AT&T.

The purpose of this thread is not for me to answer your questions (of course I will help if I can), but to make this a community effort and hopefully minimize the number of theming questions posted.

The S3 theming Q&A thread is a great place to get started since theming both devices are similar. Also, be sure to check out the VZW S4 thread.

Please search both of the above threads before posting questions.

Does anyone know if the lockscreen time and date are a xmk or image? In the sg3 they were a png but I havent been able to find it and im also looking for what controls the swipe to unlock text

I haven't made any changes to the lockscreen yet, but it looks like what you want is a combination of pngs (time) and xmls (date) in framework-res and SecSettings.

Ok thanks I haven't had much time to continue diging in to it. I have a day off this weekend maybe ill poke around the SecSettings

Assuming this device is the same as the S3, you just need to theme FlashBarService.apk.

The time itself are images. The date and such is XML. All is in the KeyguardWidget.apk.

Nope, I didn't explain clearly.

For the S3 you would mod FlashBarService.apk for multi-window. If the S4 is the same (which I assume it is), that is where you need to make your changes. My bad!

Yes, The multi-window is FlashBarService.apk for the S4

Anyone know where the text headers are for email/exchange account set up?

Looked everywhere. Hoping it's not in SecExchange.apk because it won't decompile.
