No OS, no download mode, but recovery is there. Can this zip be used to fix my phone?

If I put the full factory restore zip on my phones sd card, can i get the entire os from that by using the "Apply update from external storage"? My Galaxy S5 is ****ed. There is no os and no download mode. All i can do is boot to stock recovery mode and wipe, adb sideload, manage logging, and apply updates from external sd card. I really need to figure out how to fix this, no one is helping me out. Thanks

My build number/baseband version ends with BOE1
Kernel dated 06/18/15 version 3.4.0
I take it this is newer than BOC5, right?
I'm guessing it cannot be rooted (yet).
So plan to flash BOC5 full stock rooted tar with Odin.
Unless anyone knows of a dev working on this.

Use the SD card recovery image, boot to download mode, flash ncg full tar.

Advanced/Video calling

I can't get the advanced/video calling to work as well. I have followed all the steps to the T, and nothing works. I have Advance calling active on OC4, but it drops out when I dirty flash the OD5 ROM, and it does not return through the rest of the steps.
