I got my brand new htc sensation 4g from T-mobile last week, and root my sensation with Android Revolution HD 4.1.6 , that was just 2 days before 4.1.7 came out. I spend almost 2 hours to setup my sensation base on 4.1.6, lots setting and Apps been installed.

Now I have 3 questions:

1. as i know sensation 4g has dual core cpu, on 4.1.6, I use Elixir2 to check the system infor. looks like only 1 core is working. How can I get 2nd core to work.

2. How can i upgrade from 4.1.6 to 4.1.7, the guide only for flash install. no steps for upgrade install.

3. will i need to setup everything again (settings, ringtons, contacts, apps) after upgrade? is there way to do migration in few mins?

Thanks a lot.

As far as the last question. I just store things to my SD card. Good aps in the market and also storing on pc. Just what I do.I use coredroid so I can't answer the other questions.when I upgrade I don't usually have to lose everything.

Sent from my HTC Sensation 4G using XDA App

Hi,

1. Second core starts to work when the first one gets stressed.

2. Go into recovery and flash new ROM.
Place new ROM on your sd card> install zip> choose zip> flash.

3. The only thing you will lose is any mod you installed.
Settings, apps, contacts all remain.
