It's new my rom based on CM7 with new features. You can only make wipe data/factory reset and flash via cwm recovery. Yes, it's multilang and gapps included.

These are great news!!! Gapps ready and multilang rom nice. Thanks for all the work that you have done for all of us because i saw how many roms you have done for this phone

root app

Is there any recommendation for app that could root alcatel ot990???
I`we tried with gingerbreak.apk, z4root.apk, rootme.apk, but none of them did actually root my phone....
the reason I'm looking for .apk file is that micro usb connector on my phone get loos, and I`ve managed to fix it somehow, but only charging is functioning in right way, my pc is not picking my phone when I connect cable, so I guess that not all of pins on micro usb connector are actually connected to phone motherboard in a right way....

thanks in advance for any suggestion or tip ....

Help me on bring back life to my mobile

I installed a Custom ROM in my Alcatel OT-990 by ClockWorkMod Recovery
and come to know it's the worst ROM also feels like using a bricked mobile, and I wasn't backup the generic stock firmware which is Gingerbread 2.3.4,
Now I Don't Want Any Custom Rom and don't know how to flash(Roll Back) stock GB firmware
but I have a Source Code and French stock firmware(2.3.4) and tried flashing by This Method but didn't worked and stops at booting aftewards

Now could somebody help me restoring the GB stock Firmware(2.3.4) or even Ubuntu OS [Only Stock and No Custom or Modified Roms PLEASE]

That won't work for me here i already tried that but no use so im trying to get the stock image files to flash myself by cwm

Method i described one post above is ONLY method to restore all modified partitions (recovery.img, misc.img, fota.img boot.img, etc) to very stock state.

But, if you still have CWM you should flash this: MOD: Official FW V5H6-0 It is very similar to lastest official GB F/W, but prerooted and debloated. It is deodexed, but You can also reodex it if you whish with this tool.

Reminder
If your phone turning on by it self, just remove battery, press and hold POWER button while inserting battery back and release POWER button after battery is reinserted. Afterwards, try to enter recovery mode:

To enter Recovery:
Press and hold VOLUME+ and POWER buttons together, immediately after vibration release POWER and press and hold HOME while still holding VOLUME+, and after logo appear on screen you can release all buttons.

If you dont have CWM based recovery image on your phone, you should try flashing new one with fastboot through bootloader.

To enter Bootloader:
Press and hold VOLUME- and POWER buttons together, immediately after vibration release POWER. While in bootloader, screen should remain off but soft keyboard lit.

Well Done !

BOOTLOADER SUCCESSFULLY UPGRADED WITHOUT OTU!!!!!!!!! GINGERBREAD 2.3 BOOTED ON TELENOR ONE TOUCH SERBIA

WE HAVE A WORKING GINGERBREAD ON A TELENOR ONE TOUCH SERBIA!!! THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR YOUR HELP, ESPECIALLY qltsar, sigprof, gulyuk.s !!!!
***-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------***
1. You need to install Alcatel Android Manager and One Touch Upgrade from THIS LINK. Find it in Download tab. All the drivers are here.
Also download and install Android SDK Tools. (SDK tools can be also downloaded from HERE). I have installed all these things so maybe you should too.
2. Download PACK1 and unpack it. Put these recovery-clockwork-4.0.1.5-ot990.img, RecoveryManager_v0.34b.apk and update.zip (dont unpack this archive) files in the root of SD card (this is in your mobile device).
3. Download PACK2 and unpack it on your computer. (WE WILL NEED THIS FOLDER IN STEP 7!!)
4. Download PACK3 and unpack it on your computer. (WE WILL NEED THIS FOLDER IN STEP 15!!!)
5. Shutdown the phone and then when its off enter the fastboot mode by holding the Volume Down and Power button at the same time. When you feel the vibration, release the Power button but hold the Volume Down a few seconds longer, dont let the android logo appear. Release the Volume Down button. The screen will be black, and you'll see the light from Options, Search, Back buttons of the phone.
6. Connect your phone with usb cable.
7. Find the folder where you unpacked the PACK2 archive from step 3. Double click on the install.bat and wait for process to finish. If everything is ok, the DOS prompt window will close and phone will reboot. He'll still be off, showing Battery charging.
8. Disconnect the usb cable and power on the phone. When you walk through the Setup process of the phone (Language, Google account etc.) you'll have a rooted 2.2 ROM on your phone.
9. Allow non-market applications to be installed by checking 'Unknown sources' in Settings/Applications, then go to File Manager and click on RecoveryManager_v0.34b.apk to install it.
10. When Recovery Manager is installed open it and go to Recovery tab, choose install recovery and when he shows you a recovery-clockwork-4.0.1.5-ot990.img select it. After he is done select the Reboot into Recovery option. Phone will reboot.
11. When phone enters a Recovery mode you will see something like this. (You are moving through the menu with Volume Up and Volume Down buttons and select with Home button.) Choose a second option apply sdcard:update.zip. Confirm this decision when he ask you to approve this action. Wait him to finish. When he is done choose reboot, i think its a first option.
12. Have patience, booting will be slow. At this point Gingerbread should be installed and offer you to choose a language. But after that when you try to select a keyboard he will probably give an error, something like 'android.process... blah blah..' and give you a force quit option. SHUT DOWN THE PHONE!
13. When the phone is off we are doing the step 5 again. Enter the fastboot mode!
14. Connect the usb cable!
15. Find the folder from step 4 where we extracted the PACK3 archive. Double click on the install.bat and wait him to finish. When it is done phone will reboot and start charging battery.
16. Disconnect the usb cable.
17. Power on the phone and go through the setup.

YOU ARE DONE!

porting jellybean launcher

It's new my rom based on CM7 with new features. You can only make wipe data/factory reset and flash via cwm recovery. Yes, it's multilang and gapps included.

Hello Gulyuk thanks for your perfomix rom v.20130703, i use that one because of multilanguage, dutch.
your newer roms does not have multilanguage support. the rom works realy smooth. i only miss the
jellybean launcher lockscreen that you have put in to the newer versions. is there a way to port that for version perfomix 20130703?.

Thanks for your work,

charwed

Selles sur Cher
Download this

Then unpack the archive and follow these steps:

  1. Turn your phone off
  2. Hold the volume - button and power button during 5 seconds
  3. Plug the USB cable to your phone (obviously connected to your computer)
  4. Go to the folder named "CWM recovery 5.0.2.8 alcatel ot990"
  5. And launch the file called "install.bat"
If you don't use windows, you have to add some steps, to install fastboot, and use the terminal, instead of just launch the "install.bat" file.
