[Q] Android 3.0 Honeycomb

Is there or will there be a custom rom based on Android 3.0 for android tablets? I have a Viewsonic G tablet with android 2.2 which i have rooted and now running
TNT Lite v4.2.

From what I understand, you need to be able to run a different kernel to update the OS. If the bootloader is encrypted, this won't be possible unless it is cracked...or unless Motorola decides to update everyone with a 3.0 release. Keep in mind, I'm assuming the bootloader to be locked and encrypted, but it might not be encrypted....chances are slim to none..but they exist lol.

And of course...all of that IF you meant to post this in the Atrix forum lol.

They are. Phones get 2.3, tablets get 3.0, then ice cream is going to be a mix of features of both (ie, the renderscript API, fragments, the ui will be relatively consistent across all devices, etc) and will be for all form factors.
