Has any one grabbed the OTA?
Too late to grab the ota url
here is the update.zip file
link 2 update.zip
5.0.2 to 5.1.1 OTA update
MD5: D34B8C63AD43CCC3A797029D6DCE7394

This is an OTA UPDATE which will PATCH your 5.02 system into 5.1.1
use sideload update through G watch stock recovery
connect the dock to your computer and place your watch on the dock.
enter the recovery mode on your G watch and select update adb sideload.

If you are rooted or installed TWRP most likely you are going to get error 7.
restore to stock first before applying the update.
You can keep Bootloader unlocked to apply the update.

Another method (rooted watch) is by
1. ADB push to cache without going to recovery.
2. remove root without wiping cache and restore stock recovery
3. Go to setting-about-system updates
It should install update automatically

I know it's early, but I just sideloaded the update.zip and I must say that I notice a pretty huge increase in preformance. This is how the G Watch should have felt since the beginning. This is very exciting!

I'm getting a Device Not Found Error in ADB when I try to push the update, any advice? Everything should be stock, but the bootloader is unlocked.

Same here. Can't for the life of me get my PC to recognise and when I try to update the unknown g watch driver to either the adb drivers provided on google's website, or to the drivers in the android sdk and neither are accepted.

You need to turn on USB debugging under developer options.

I know I have USB debugging enabled. I then type adb reboot bootloader, swipe top left to bottom right, enter recovery, tap, then choose sideload. At that point, the g watch for me is listed in device manager as unrecognised.

Anyone under windows have a suitable USB driver for this darn thing to be seen in sideload mode?!

EDIT: Ah nevermind, got it working. I needed to manually select the Google driver in the list, adb interface.

its lg not google. its like the google edition phone. google only roll out update for their own devices like nexus.

Nope, the Android Wear updates are coming directly from google. All Android Wear watches are like nexus devices.

I guess what it says right there on your screen is true: You need a newer adb executable. Type "adb version" to see which one you currently have.

Here are some links to installers for the latest versions:
    for Windows
    for OSX and Linux

It's Google who role it out isn't it, not LG?

Sent from my SM-G920F using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
