[Q] android wear on smartwatch 2

Does anyone know how to install android wear on sony smartwatch 2? Or perhaps is it really possible to do that ? I want to develop application for wear and I am already owning a smartwatch 2.

I thought sw2 had a full android on it? while android wear can run alone but must be paired with a smartphone.... seems clear than android wear(relying on your phone) demands less power than a full android system...

SW2 doesn't run Android. Not even close to that power or complexity!

I beg to differ, ubuntu has been run on a MICROCONTROLER. Notice thats khz range processor wise. It also ran on kbs of ram. Sooooooo, in theory; android wear (might i remind is built on Linux) would run fine on sonys sw2's 320mhz processesor and 512mb of RAM. The problem is trying to get into the firmware and actually getting the poor thing to actually boot. If you get around that astronomical problem, all is well. I just dont like when people automatically say "no" without delving into the subject ;p
