[Q] Any Ex-Vibrant Owners Here?

Hey SGS4G owners!

Just wondering if any of you guys graduated from Samsung Vibrants. I currently have an SGS4G running Valhalla Final and absolutely love it, BUT I'm looking to save $30/month by downgrading to a Vibrant with 3G only.

As far as I can tell, almost every feature is the same in these phones, except for the data speed, the 4G has special EDR bluetooth, and I've heard there are problems with GPS on the Vibrant. Not to mention there's no official GB build out for the Vibrant, but there seem to be several custom GB ROMs out there.

What I'm most interested in is CM7 and MIUI. Mostly MIUI. Have any of you guys had experience running either of these on your old Vibrant?

And finally, is is a terrible idea for me to do this? Thanks in advance for your reponses!

I also have upgraded from vibrant to galaxy s 4g and am running valhalla final with lightning zap. I had t-mobile on my vibrant but dropped it and got simple mobile(basically simple mobile). It actually is tmobile because it uses there towers. I then bought a galaxy s 4g and instead of using their $60 plan with unlimited everything including 4g data, i switched to their $40 plan with unlimited everything with 3g data. Its a great deal, some people will argue with me and say eventually they cut off the internet and slow it down but I use my phone non-stop and hasnt happen to me yet. Maybe you've heard of them maybe you haven't but for me its the best deal. Oh, its no contract to which makes it even better because no cancelation fees.
