I wanted to open the stock RUUs in order to grab various radios and other junk. Whenever I try I get yelled at about it being corrupt (which isn't true). Is this a security measure for whoever leaked it? Or is there a special way you can in fact open them?

If your tryin to open them on the phone itself with androzip etc it will error, usually cause apps on market can't handle the compression level that was used to make it.

This was on windows with 7Zip. It kept giving me "files corrupt" although they work fine when I flash them to the phone. It does this for both the ICS leak and the Stock RUU. I figured it might be a security thing thinking back to my WC3 days when you purposefully corrupted a map so that nobody could edit your work lol. Guess now I need to figure out wtf is going on.

What Scotty said. I had the exact same problem and redownloading fixed the problem.
