[Q] Any thoughts on screen quality?

Had moto g for nearly 24 hours, I am just going to say the resolution of 326 ppi is perfect. There are enough pixels, so images look crisp but fewer than other flag ship phones with 400+ ppi, so it drains less power. :laugh::good:

Could someone with rooted MG please issue immediately after reboot these commands in terminal

dmesg | grep -i panel
and tell us what is manufacturer of MG's LCD panel? as exampled in here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2516949

I love the display but I'm coming from an old iPhone 4. The size is awesome in my opinion. It's bright, crisp and colors look great to me. The darks are also really impressive, I think they're better than the darks on the nexus 5.

I still can't get over how good this phone is for the price. Other than the camera it is sweet.

I really love this screen! The size is perfect for me (I wanted something between 4 and 5 inches) and 720p is more than enough for a 4.5 inch display.
The colors are great, the whites actually look white, brightness and contrast are nice as well.
Plus the display is protected by Gorilla Glass 3! So if anything the display and the glass are the phone's strongest feature, especially at this price point.

I agree with most users in this thread the screen is absolutely amazing. Its definitely the strongest component on Moto G

Not sure how it can get any worse. Diagonally a black screen is a very bright (almost white) washed out image.
