[Q] Any way to get rid of the %*#$ spinning carousel effect on unlock?

The spinning wheel effect when you unlock the phone is really beginning to irritate me. I want to unlock the phone without having to suffer a ~2 second delay waiting to some stupid animation effect to complete. Is there any way to get rid of this outside using a different launcher or are we stuck with this effect?

Not sure with other roms at this point, but coredroid put that option to turn off that sense effect in it's 'tweaks' settings. I have no spinning wheel now

No as it's part of Sense, you'd need to use a different lanucher. And even then I don't know if it'd work

Seems coredroid now has the option to disable it, and so does bulletproof.

And no, there is no way to remove it from those roms and add it to your current one.

i think its really annoying. waste my time and makes me dizzy.

yeah it pretty time wasting to look at. and it chews battery power because the cpu has to work harder to render the animations.

Any ROM that includes the romanbb tweaks will allow you to disable it. Lots to choose from
