[Q] Anyone experiencing serious problems after installing ROM Toolbox?

Okay, this is the second serious problem in the week since I tried out ROM Toolbox.

First time was on Wednesday, something Real Bad™ happened, hosing my system completely that I can't even open Settings without FC.

Second time is just a couple of hours ago: I rebooted and got stuck in a bootloop. And this is after re-Pristine-ing my phone.

I never had any serious problems before with the same combination of apps installed (minus ROM Toolbox).

This, of course, is mightily inconvenient.

So, anyone else having horror stories after installing ROM Toolbox?

Nope, i used rom toolbox on every rom i ever installed. Never had a problem.

Btw i have good news and bad news

The good news is that bagux agreed to let me continue his rom and i will start tomorrow.


The bad news is my Wonder's battery got damaged and i will wait for a few days untill i get a new one. I will be available but from my Galaxy mini

No more bad news!! Fast ha? I used my mini battery and some paper to make my Wonder work . Here is a pic of the battery




And about the problem, uninstall the app, reflash the Rom and any tweaks you added(after reflashing the Rom), clear cache and dalvik cache then reboot, no need to go pristine for the third time

Hmm... I tried remembering what happened exactly...

I think there's an incompatibility, or otherwise a fatal interaction, between ROM Toolbox and AutoStarts.

IIRC, on both occasions, the system became hosed if I do changes using AutoStarts after ROM Toolbox has been installed.

Hmm... I wonder...

Check and give us the feedback, I uninstalled the app now just to be careful lol

And are you sure all the tweaks you added(if you added any)well work with the Rom?

Although I know it's for the good of the many, I'm kinda reluctant to endure the same experience again...

... ah heck. I'll do it some time this week. Just need to make sure that all important apps have proper backups first.

And are you sure all the tweaks you added(if you added any)well work with the Rom?

The only mod I have running at both times is Seeder.

The 1st time, I had had i
installed "Power button in notification drawer" mod, but I had uninstalled it before installing ROM Toolbox.

The 2nd time, it's from Pristine, and no other mods except Seeder.
