[Q] Anyone receive their replacement yet?

I received a replacement unit today, but there was no return label. Anyone else in this situation? Does Dell not want the old unit? I'd be happy to keep it

its crazy its taking so long i called dell to tell them i am having over heating issues and they sent me a new one out again and it will be here tomorrow........... i call yesterday

still waiting on my replacement from the weekend. Getting weird menu and keyboard popups, and rebooting now. Think its overheating.

got my replacement yesterday, no return slips, call dell request a return authorization will email pack slip for returns

Got mine yesterday. No return label but they called and lefr message to return broken one.

I have my streak plugged into a dock and it has frozen once so far. Had to hard reset it and it was pretty warm. Not having a good feeling about it.

for those of you that got a replacement... was it new in the box with all of the accessories or does it appear to be a refurb...

Mine was brand new. Came in a factory sealed box.

One thing about the overheating. I have only had that issue when the device is charging and the screen is left on. As long as I keep the screen off when charging, I dont have the overheating issue.

my first replacement was brand new but the one i sent in i actually openned up and removed the void stickers , lol and they are sending me one in a couple of hours that should be brand new if not ill just keep the one i already have

Actually hold off.. The Asus eee Transformer looks very promising. It's the same specs as the xoom except it has an ips screen and the sd card is working (currently not on xoom) plus it's got that extra keyboard dock to turn it into a laptop kinda thing complete with usb ports and sd card reader. It's reported that the 16gb will be 399 and the 32 gb be 499 (without the dock) but I estimate the 16gb will be 449(comparable to the acrer hc tab that just went up for pre order) and 549 for the 32gb version.. that's my guesstimate lol

I'm actually selling my xoom to get the asus. Plus the thing isnt even out yet and they already released the source code and are already talking of an OTA update a few weeks after release... which is a very promising sign. They said it has the nicest android tablet screens seen so far that is on par with the ipad 2 screen

And it's pretty easy to wifi tether. I use my glacier to tether to both my xoom and streak 7 and sometimes my netbook or laptop

I listed my xoom for $550 but would accept $525 so if you know anyone that wants one let me know
