[Q]Anyway to get mobile hotspot for international users after update?

i just did the update and use shawnbuck exploit to stay rooted. but now i lost mobile hotspot. Im in canada using the phone with Fido, mobile hotspot was working fine before the update but now when i try to turn it on i get a message saying that my account is not set up for wifi hotspot and need to contact ATT to enable this feature. is there anyway i can get this working again?

I'm in the same boat. If you're still rooted, Barncale WiFi Tether should work like a charm. You can download it in the market.

P.S. And its icon is so cute that it's worth installing it just to have it on your desktop

Hey man just wondering how you got the update already? I'm also on fido in vancouver and I thought the update was only for att?

i have a ATT phone and just sent to settings>about phone>update but make sure you check the root thread in the dev section first, theres a few things you need to do with ADB if you want to keep your root.

Thanks little_beat barnacle is much better than Pdanet that i was using.

anyone know if mobile hotspot works for ATT users in the states after the update? and is there a fix?
