[Q APP] "HTC" on top left corner..possible?

Hi all!
there is an app out there to add "HTC" on the taskbar at the top right corner as in htc hub notification?

As I remember - it was possible to add logo into notification bar in ViperDHD rom, but it was at the left corner.

No, because there is no htc logo, it can be added by Venom Tweaks, which are not compatible with other roms.

Make a app with the status bar service and change its service icon to a HTC logo.png

I can release one by this week as a flashable zip but apps go over the icon unlike viperdhd

To make sure the CPU is still running in the background doing your tasks when you press the standby button(screen off).
your donwload via browser will not killed when screen goes off:victory:

It is sense 4.1 full.

hehe, to be honest im from htc thunderbolt ROM, mostly app work on DHD work on our Thunderbolt also :laugh:

Who cares about thunderbolt?
I'm saying that tweaks are rom dependable and just not working with any other rom.

Use search on XDA, there is already was someone who tried.

Here:

venom tweaks.apk is only the top of an ice berg- you may say,
there, come so many other things in the rom- belonging to tweaks,
to which a user do not have and do not need access- because of the apk...

Here you go

This has been tested on sense 4 roms like SVHD and ViperDHD, however this is a vrtheme script so it should work on any sense rom, if it doesn't then try it on a sense 4 rom.

Flash in recovery and done.

Apps go over this! So I recommend using this other one which makes the logo in the middle of the statusbar since no apps go to the middle of the status bar

Disclaimer: I did not make the "HTC" logo nor the status bar theme, all credits go to their rightful owners.

How it works if you want to edit the background

Basically this mods the framework files (system-ui.apk) inside the system-ui.apk theres a file known as "statusbar_background9.png" with this file you can edit in photoshop or any editing software and put what you want like htc logo. Meaning you can just pull the system-ui.apk from your phone, extract it, edit statusbar background, repack, push the apk back; however this method using vrtheme is easier due to it doing all these steps but you just put the image in the vrtheme folders.

hmm..yea agree with you, htc logo so neat on the midle than on left side anyway.
