[Q] app update package

I've been using TiBu for a while, and got to thinking. Would it be possible to make a cwm zip out of applications and their data to make upgrading roms that much faster? I dont know where it is all stored or if its even possible.

the application can be made into the installer through cwm, but data is tricky, since most of them are stored in the database (sqlite3), and database needs to be up and running when you try to restore the application data.
