Okay, so I've been running CyanogenMod7 RC1 on my aria for about a year now, not checking in for newer roms, cause everything has always run very smoothly.
And, I've used ADW Launcher Ex as my home. Never have had any major problems.

But! Just recently my Aria has started crashing several times a day. Sometimes as soon as 20 seconds after booting back up from the crash.

I have no idea what in the world brought this on, and have tried everything I can think of. So far, I have cleared dalvik, cleared data, restored my rom after backing up, did a complete wipe and flashed CM9.. Still encountered the problem, but was thinking it may have been because it was unstable. so I did another wipe, flashed CM 7.2, and was still running into same problem.

(Then, additionally, the received dates of messages started getting fudged, so I flashed back to my CM7 RC1.)

It just keeps crashing... Even when I'm not using it. It's sitting on the charger right beside me, and has crashed and rebooted 4 times since I've started typing this.

...I have.. No clue.. =[! Any ideas??

Have you been able to observe the amount of free RAM, and the Temp of the unit?
Also, does this occur after a clean install, or only after you have reloaded all your apps?

Same thing started happening to me. I even unrooted, restored to stock rom and returned to HTC, and they are now on their 3rd attempt to try and fix it. Read the "random reboot" thread under questions. There has to be a solution to this!

Sent from my MB860 using XDA

I checked the ram usage last in between crashes, and it was floating around 80mb-100mb. And, as far as I know, temperature wasn't anything out of the ordinary. Battery temp around 90 degrees. ..there have been times it was wayyy hotter but it wouldn't crash..

..Could it be an application that after updating is making the system crash? read a few things online where people were saying that was possible?:( ..if it is, I don't know how to diagnose which application is the cause.. =[

Dang! 3rd time? That's ridiculous! I just read through some and somebody had said that it's a hardware problem in the aria..?? :(
