I've the Microsoft Bluetooth Keyboard 6000 and trying to pair with the motorola atrix 4G. For some reason it instead of asking me to type a number on the keyboard to pair like how Android OS is, it asks me to enter a 4 digit pin such as 0000 or 1234. How do I pair non Motorola Bluetooth keyboard to Atrix? Thanks in advance.

Enter the numeric pin on the atrix, and then physically type the same number and hit Enter on the BT keyboard. That's how it's been on every BT keyboard I've ever used. As a matter of fact, I did the very same thing with the very same keyboard this morning. The same applies to the separate number keypad.

I have tried to pair the Playstation 3 Keypad but not successful. It's the keypad where it has a built-in touch pad on the keypad area. So I can use the keypad and as a touch pad all in one tiny device.

Make sure to check the "make device discoverable" when you pair.
Hit scan for devices, select the keyboard, enter 0000 or 1234 hit enter, then right after enter the same code on your keyboard and press enter and you should be paired. I've paired both my ps3 wireless Bluetooth keypad and a normal Microsoft Bluetooth keyboard this way with no issues.

Thank you sooooo much for this tip...I've been searching all over the net for this because I didn't want to buy a $70.00 keyboard when I can buy one for $20-30.
So I bought M$ bt keyboard 6000 and followed your instructions and worked without any apps. :D
