[Q] Atrix doesn't detect 5GHz 802.11n network. What do?

Hello,

I ran into this problem also after upgrading to the leaked .sbf. So I did a bit of disassem and digging around, and discovered it to be a firmware issue.

I've posted a simple fix for this problem over yonder - assuming all of you with the problem are using the leaked sbf February 22 build rather than February 5 stock build which should not have this problem.

If you do not see your 5 GHz AP with broadcast SSID in scan results make sure you set it to use one of the channels 36 40 44 48 149 153 157 161. Yes I do work for Motorola .

I posted in your thread too, it didn't work, but after following the next post's instructions, it did. So you did help indirectly

really? I try connecting it to my wrt610n at 5hz and it seems fast and very snappy

I also have a Linksys/Cisco 610N router and haven't had any issues with connecting or maintaining a connection. Are your' router and modem close to each other? I've read that this can cause issues.

This fixed it for me

Where will find the options to change the channel. My wifi signal keeps dropping and is really weak compared to other devices. Please help.
