Hello,

I ran into this problem also after upgrading to the leaked .sbf. So I did a bit of disassem and digging around, and discovered it to be a firmware issue.

I've posted a simple fix for this problem over yonder - assuming all of you with the problem are using the leaked sbf February 22 build rather than February 5 stock build which should not have this problem.

If you do not see your 5 GHz AP with broadcast SSID in scan results make sure you set it to use one of the channels 36 40 44 48 149 153 157 161. Yes I do work for Motorola :).

I posted in your thread too, it didn't work, but after following the next post's instructions, it did. So you did help indirectly :p

really? I try connecting it to my wrt610n at 5hz and it seems fast and very snappy

I also have a Linksys/Cisco 610N router and haven't had any issues with connecting or maintaining a connection. Are your' router and modem close to each other? I've read that this can cause issues.
