Hi all.

I have android Samsung galaxy S. My problem is when I visit some websites with callender and apointments, the website recognizes that I have less resolution than 800byxxx and it blocks me, I get an error like : your device has less resolution than is requered etc...
How can I resolve this problem ? I dont want the sites to see me as mobile device with small resolution. is there a way to make this work ?

thanks

I know Cyanogenmod has an option to change UAString to Desktop or other type. This allows what you want. I think even HTC Sense roms have this option in the browser too...

Try typing about:useragent in the browser address bar.

Type about:debug in the address bar, when you press enter more menu options will be available, you need to change UAString in settings.

thanks for help, but not there yet

Hi guys, I have done that, this solves a part of the whole problem, cause the site also checks the resolution and my resolution is smaller than it must be, so it says resolution is to low you need at least 1024 x 768 , where can I imitate that ? or change it sothat the site does not see my lower resolution ?

Have you tried opera mini (or opera mobile)? The web pages are decoded on operas servers then sent to your phone in a different format, sometimes this helps, but only if the web page is simple enough, ie no flash content.

What site are you trying?
