Just wondering how secure the tri-clip system on the B&N NC cases are? From an aesthetic point of view I think they look far better than cases which frame the device but I do wonder about how secure they can hold the NC... I'd hate to have mine fall out during use or transit.

I bought the Industriel Cover and absolutely love it. Previously I bought a leather case off of ebay that was ok but much bulkier than I would have liked. The official cases are built very well and the clips work great for securing the nook while still making it easy to remove it from the case to swap out sd cards or etc.

That's good news! I ordered that case purely because it was the simplest and least detracting from the actual device.

One thing that I did that I think made the cover even better was buy some black elastic for .99 at a local store and cut out a small piece that I sowed together and used to secure the front cover from opening in my backpack. In addition, it can be used to secured the flap in the back as well sort of like the Montgomery Cover except that I secured the strap using the nook itself.

another +1 for industriell easel... I love mine. Having the fold on the left edge when holding it horizontally (which I frequently do) feels very nice to me. Overall, I love the notepad style (flipping over the top) cover more than the book cover style.
