Just wondering if anyone is aware of an app to backup wifi addresses/passwords. Going from rom to rom all the time it sucks to have to set up all my hotspots over and over.

I would send my contacts to google. But after flashing unnamed rom it never restored all my contacts. Had to "sync" them afterwards even though I had them "saved" to Google.

Using titanium backup I've backed up "Wi-Fi Access Points" And later restored them with "data only" option

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I777 using XDA

I don't believe titanium backup works when flashing a new base.

After a hard-long internet search I've discovered that there's an alternative way in which you can eventually recover the information from google's own servers since that's where your device (or past devices) backups/backed up your data. The following link is a guide to this option.

As a reminder, you're the only one responsible for any possible damages involved when "tinkering" with your phone. Adb and root are necessary, so please refrain yourself from continuing if you don't even know these words!

Cheers
