[Q] backing up and restoring via pc companion

Hey guys just a quick question

Has anyone tried the new backup and restore via pc companion? Ive backed my phone up but not tried restoring.

I want to reflash my phone but afraid that ill lose everything.

My problem is that my in call volume has gone really low since saturday night and cant figure out why. It was working fine all day then all of a sudden I couldnt hear anything unless I put the call on loudspeaker. I rebooted the phone and now its ok but struggle to hear the person when im in public areas. Even when using the headset it sounds lower than before. Music is fine too. Could someone please help with both queries please. Thanks

Just my bad luck. I open the phone all was well. I put it back together now my screen is black. Can see the backlight phone vibrates and turns on. Ugh

So you restored it and fixed the problem?
I want to erase the phone and restore it back to previous status with all settings and apps..

I haven't tried anything, before I could do anything my screen has gone blank which I am now sending in for repair
