Hi guys,
I've been visiting this forum for years, but due to extreme laziness, I've never made an account, until now.

The reason why is that, ever since I installed the more recent versions of team EOS on my Xoom, my battery drains a lot.

So I was thinking, what was the last EOS nightly that was still really good, battery wise?
I thought many of you would know, but I'm not sure so I figured asking about it wouldn't hurt :)
Thank you so much :)

Solution?

There are people who suggest Wingray Nightly 90 was one of the last 'good' ROMs in this aspect.

If you also experienced battery drain issues, please let me know if this worked for you!

I'll report my findings in a couple of days (want to give the ROM some time to settle in! :) )

Thanks guys, and remember, if this helped, let me know!

I said I was going to come back on this, and so I am! :)

I couldn't help but noticing EOS launched a new nightly with a huge changelog, so I couldn't just ignore that. Instead, I downloaded it, flashed it, and it seems my Xoom's battery life, for the first time since nightly 90 or so actually went up again!

I'm not sure, so please do correct me if I am wrong, but for now I am happy with the placebo ;)

Do you also notice a difference?

I'm on Nightly 105, it seems better. Althought it appears Maps is still loading at boot..

Best, E
Yes, I have also noticed the 2% usage by Maps...
Luckily, I've asked BRD of the EOS Team and he said he also saw the huge battery drain in comparison with the earlier builds.
But, since I know that he knows, I am feeling a lot safer. :)

Thanks for your reaction by the way! Glad to see someone is finally trying to help ;-)
