Hello all,

I am slowly solving the new challenges Lollipop is causing. I still like it :)

One quick question: are you getting better battery life than before?

I seem to get worse - as before I used custom power setting (reduced clock speed, reduced fps)

What is your experience? Any tricks to maximize run time?

I seem to get about 5 hours of mixed use (no hardcore gaming; web browsing; reading; simple games)

Quick question for you....

After the Lollipop OTA, did you factory reset?

I didn't at first, and I was getting terrible performance (high memory use, terrible battery life, etc.)

But then I decided to factory reset and start fresh with a "clean" Nvidia Lollipop, and the difference is like night and day.

Battery is the same even after factory reset. There is not such a miracle update giving us more battery. The device will take 10% of your battery in normal conditions (Browsing, youtube, etc) and with Optimized performance. We got a really tin tiny battery, we can't do more than tweaks the OS for best results, but is not that powerful as i wish.

I'm getting substantially better idle battery life and light usage doesn't drain as bad as on KitKat. The main improvement I've seen is the tablet basically never gets hotter than 90 degrees Fahrenheit.

No issues here. 5 hours SOT with heavy gaming, videos, and browsing. Improved over kit kat. Will get even better once they fix the LTE radio behaviour.
