[Q] battery problem !!

Hello my friends ,
I've just bought Dell streak 7 wifi tablet and updated it to honeycomb 3.2 , but the problem is that battery life is 3 - 4 hours maximum and i put it on the charger for long time while i'm working on it as i need to use internet and read books for approx. 6 hours daily.
My question is if putting it on the charger while working can harm the battery or not ?

I am going to say no.

My DS7 is a year old and 99.9% of its usage time is while plugged into the charger. I don't notice any battery problems.
