Hello!

Did anybody found a new battery replacement to nook touch BNRV300? I'm searching.. searching.. no luck :(
I even ask B&N service if they can fix my device by battery replace, but they're only can invite me to buy a new device.. :/
my battery model is: MLP305787

First of all, we already have a thread about the possibility of battery replacement.
Why create another?

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2029609

Also.. connect to your nook via ADB and find a file 'manufacturer' located somewhere in the /system/ folder.
The file contains the info about ... the manufacturer of the battery.
Find it, post it, write an email to the company.
I don't have time to do this myself right now.

EDIT :

the file 'manufacturer' is in

/sys/class/power_supply/bq27510-0/

mine is 'McNair'

Replacement battery for a nook $100

New nook $50.

Probably. It's just a random guess with random numbers, but the point is there.

I just purchased one from a US seller for $5.50, the manufacturer is irrelevant, just make sure that it's Li-ion 3.7v and 1530 Mah.

Just make sure that...
  • That it fits in the case
  • That it's a single cell LiPo @ a nominal 3.7V
  • That it's at least 1530 mAH
  • That it connects on a 6 pin JST SH plug
  • That the pinout is correct
  • That the thermistor is an 103AT type
  • That there is an ID resistor, nominally 30K, but any will do
Within these requirements any old battery will do.
