Hi,
I have a HK HTC Aria that I have rooted and installed CM7 on. Unfortunately as soon as I did this I dropped the unit and smashed the digitizer.
I then fixed the digitizer (myself), but in the process stupidly damaged the power button component.
I have found solutions to turning this on and using trackball to wake the screen, but it means that I cannot boot into recovery (as this seems to definitely require the power button to work).
Ever since I have installed CM7 my battery has not been accurate, it will not fully charge (only to about 60% - 3900mv) even if it is switched off and left on charge for 24 hours.
I've tried the battery configuration steps a number of times (deleting batterystats and using the market battery config app). I've bought another 2 batteries and tried those and I've tried using different cables.
Nothing so far has worked, then I stumbled on this thread:

12. Install jug6ernaut's CWM battery fix (even if you had it installed before), do not reboot yet.
Do not disconnect it from the charger still!
Anyone know if this will work with the Aria or fix my issues?
Or does anybody else have experience of resolving this issue?
Thanks in advance
Michael
