I'm actually on my second otterbox. if u change batteries alot, the otterbox cracks/ breaks off by kickstand or down near jacks. Sorry but by job requires me to be on call 24 hr a day, and I can't have my phone pplugged in for hours at a time charging.

Sent from my 32gb HD7 T9292 NextGen+ using XDA Windows Phone 7 App

Or maybe you guys can have a look at what I use for my HD7.
I also use the HD2 leather pouch for my HD7, at xmas the handset will be two years old and still looks exactly like the day i unboxed it.........not a single scratch or scuff on any part of the handset at all, perfect ;) however i dont think that it will house an extended battery unit.

Kind Regards,
Creamy

I'm curently using a Mybat, 2 piece snap on (front and back plate) all black high gloss/shinny hard potector case fo my Hd7. They have all different kinds of designs available. They'll run you about $15 -$25. It has cut outs for the power, volume, camera keys the charger port and headphone jack. I like the style of the front plate because it doesnt over lap onto the screen to far and interfear with the screen protector or cover the ear piece. I also prefer this over my previous case which had all the keys covered and intergraded into the case, so the buttons would get accidentally pushed and lock the screen, change the volume or activate the camera. Because of the sleek design of the Mybat hard case, I am able to use it securely in a Cellular Innovations universal leather, horizontal smartphone holster. It features a flip open magnetic cover, revolving belt clip and a lainyard ring. Model # DC6-CEO-Classic. Cost was $10.00 So far this has been the best setup for my for my HD7.
