[Q] Best protective case?

I have been through two cases now the body glove, which was the worst case I have ever seen for a phone, and a snap on, which isn't much better. I want a case that when I dropped it it isn't going to break. Most snaps break on the cases and it annoys me. I have found the kraken but I am wondering what else there is out there. Is there any good protective cases and I don't need it as extreme as the karken but i don't want it to break after one drop. Price is not a concern.

My favorite cases are the seidio surface, for untrathin and stable protection, and the seidio active, if you want some added shock protection.

I'm a big fan of the Innocase Active by Seido. great protection while being slim and adding a nice look and feel to the phone.

Mmmmmmn its a coin toss between otterbox commuter and the seido one now.

I got the kraken it is really nice but the screen protector on it sucks. My brother got the otterbox comuter. Make sure you get a good screen protector. It kinda leaves the screen exposed as that case is thin there is a little bit of a lip but not much. Otterbox has another like the kraken called the defender.


The kraken i feel like i could throw it several feet in the air to land on the concrete and it would be fine not going to but it still feels really solid i have taken mine out of it several times and the plastic inner shell is showing no cracks or anything...

looking at both which ever one looks better to you did you look at the otterbox defender it offers most of the same amount of protection the kraken does but looks a little sleeker...

I have looked at the defender but it seems like a little too much if the sommuter can do the same. If i have a hard time pulling down the notification bar it will drive me nuts and i see it goes to the very edge of it.

How do your brother like the commuter?

Otterbox Commuter is the the best case out there. I've spent more on cases in the last year than I spent on the old lady's engagement ring, this one wins!
