Looking for a USB extension cable, any recommendations for the best ones (quality and price) out there?
Monoprice.com is where I've gotten all my cables. Quality is pretty good for most items, and they usually offer a couple different price levels for various gauges of wire. They are cheap, and overnight shipping was really cheap (In California). Good customer service too. I once had a wall plate arrive broken, they immediately overnighted a new one and told me to just throw away the broken one.
I've used Amazon cables. Not the best quality, but certainly not the worst. Plus, they're cheap and easy to replace!

well, it's not easy to find a good usb cable. I bought about 5 different cables and 4/5 were really bad (disconnects, not charging, charging slowly, ...). Now i bought a more expensive one which has only 50cm but ist fast as hell and i never got any disconnects while deveoping..
I have some USB cable have been used 2 years, i think they can still use a long time
