You have to be more specific. When you press vol up and power button what do you see? Are you able to go to recovery mode? Did you charge your xoom?...

Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using XDA Premium App

When you say you deleted everything... do you mean factory reset, or you literally wiped the card??

Someone correct me if I am wrong but, if you wiped the entire card, including bootloader, I think you are S.O.L.

Well, since I imagine you wiped everything via recovery, I presume you didn't wiped your bootloader, so it's not a very difficult thing to be resolved! Let me ask you a few questions to completely solve your problem:
1 - Can you boot?
2 - Does it stuck at Motorola logo?
3 - Is it damaged in any way?
4 - Can you at least turn it on? (Not entering in Android system)

Answer me that and I will be sure to try help you, just need a few more info :)

Good luck ;)

Try following the guide on my signature called "RSD Mode 3 Brick Fix Tutorial" (it's inside the "Hide" thing), and then ask me if you have any question ;)

From the sounds of it, you have yourself a genuine hard brick. Which means there isn't an answer to give you. You say that you have wiped everything from the tablet. Well if you wiped your Bootloader, then there isn't anything to tell the tablet what to do when the power button is hit, which is much much worse then just not having installed a ROM or a corrupted kernel.

The bootloader is basically a package of code that instructs the O.S.'s kernel what to do and how to start the system. It is the very first thing that starts when turning on a Android device and without it or if it is corrupted, nothing starts....period. It is not something you mess with unless you know EXACTLY what you are doing.

I don't know if it is something that could be fixed by a noob, novice or an amateur with the tools available to them. Or if someone that would be able too, would take the time to walk you through it, if that is possible. The only other thing it could be would be if the battery for some reason, lost it's contact, or has corroded enough it isn't holding a charge or completeing the circuit.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news
