The only thing I've seen that is at all date-specific is for a "brown black" model coming in mid-June (but don't know where it will be released):Specifically from Amazon or BestBuy
I'm just guessing, but I would say No since it looks like the Note 2 brown is often referred to as Amber Brown, and looking at the pictures I would not describe that brown as a "brown black" color. Is that Brown black that chocolate brown from the note2?

Yep, probably just like they called the Note 1 BLUE. It was more of a blackish BlueI'm just guessing, but I would say No since it looks like the Note 2 brown is often referred to as Amber Brown, and looking at the pictures I would not describe that brown as a "brown black" color.
I think very early reports indicated a black Note 8 would be coming, so I would guess that the "brown black" note is actually in reference to that, and thus that the color is going to be more like "black, with hints of brown".
But again, I'm just speculating.![]()
So does Samsung usually charge more for new colors then? I too am debating about waiting for the new black Note 8, but I doubt it would be worth it to me enough to pay extra. But now I thinking about whether to buy the 3g white version for 460€ or to wait another 5-6 weeks for the black 3g version that might cost around 500e in the beginning.
Oh, okay, thanks! Here in the US we haven't seen any drop in price yet for the Wifi-only model (selling at $400 currently, which is where it originally started selling at). They don't charge extra.
The MSRP was 599€ but the online retailer immediately sold it for 499€. In the meanwhile the prices dropped to about 460€ incl. 19% VAT for the white 3G version.
When they now bring the other colors, the prices would be about 499€ again and it wood take some days/weeks until they drop to the same level the white version is already (~455€)
That's all.
