[Q] black screen when using cwm boot loader on nook hd

I was following the instructions on page:

in order to install cm10 to my nook hd firm ver 2.0.4
rooted with the all in one package after skipping oobe.

But I cannot get the boot loader working properly.
My nook hd does boot from the sd card. But the screen is mostly black with some light leaking.
So I cannot see any menu to proceed.
I did see the card went through some actions as I could see partitions were created properly.

Please help! Why the heck am I getting black screen when using the boot loader?

It's likely the sdcard. Try again with a different sdcard. See the sdcard compatibility thread in the dev section for a list of cards that have been reported to work.
