Hello fellow Captivaters/ Androiders!

Just out of curiousness, has anyone ever successfully transcode/ convert an actual Blu Ray rip to use on our Captivates? If so, what video/ audio codecs were used and settings? Now before you ask....the answer is YES, i have searched inside the following:

Feed back still pending...

Results: ....meh

Not very helpful...

...yea.

I also googled it. All results lead to downloading Pavtube/ Ripbot/ DVDFab/ etc. I don't mind getting into each program, but i would prefer Handbrake if necessary.

I have searched on youtube as well, lets just say its Youtube...lol...sometimes you'll find results that you never knew existed.

If anyone can shed some light, i would greatly appreciate it.

To Android! :D

I'm pretty sure a Blu-Ray DVD works the exact same way in Handbrake as a regular DVD, assuming if you have the driver software to decode it (Google will have to be your friend here). Just use the Regular Normal preset...instructions I've found elsewhere tell you to use iPod settings for a Galaxy S, but the encodes I've done using that always turn out less than spectacular.

Thanks Shwiggie.

Question: Have you successfully achieved this with Blu Ray?

As mentioned, I have used google, and will try again. Also, i've used both Normal/ High Profile/ Iphone/ Ipod legacy presets and all attempts have failed (Mainly audio). The video, on the other hand, works out perfect. Thanks again.
