So has anyone been able to root a Boost Mobile Galaxy S3? I've heard the claims that it's basically d2spr but I just wanted to know if anyone else had success with it on 4.3 especially with all of the KNOX issues.

It can be rooted and have a custom recovery and ROM. you just cannot downgrade bootloader via tar files or you will brick instantly. I got lucky in not having 4.3 on the Boost GS3 I purchased. tar files flash all parts of the phone including bootloader.
