[Q] Boot Loop after CWM Restore

Hi,
Using philz touch recovery I recently did a full backup of my phone. I then wanted to restore my phone to that state so I tried to do this, pressing backup and restore/ restore from sdcard1. Philz touch said the restore had completed but when I rebooted the phone I encountered a boot loop. I managed to get past the boot loop but I now have to set up my phone from scratch. It seems every time I try to restore it causes a boot loop. Would anyone know why this may be, or if I did something wrong? Thanks.

I am also facing this issue when i flashed back into stock using odin..then i have to go into recovery mode and wipe data and factory reset and then wipe cache partistion.

Yes. I am running a cm12 nightly.
My phone often boot loops when I reboot for an xposed module for example. It s annoying because I then have to re-setup my phone.
