This one has been in the back of my mind since I got my rhodium 2 years ago and the first thing I did was flash hSPL. In trying to find the correct model number for my device I looked under the battery and there I found the model number; RHOD100. OK, cool, I thought. I'm all set now....

But, hold the phone! When I booted into bootloader mode here is what I saw:

Security Unlocked

RHOD*** 32M SS-BC
SPL-0.85.Olinex
MicroP(LED) 0x0A
MicroP(KEY) 0x04
TURBO HW/TURBO SW
TP MFG DATA
502,532 787,863
786,193 219,196
220,872 Calibrated

(Well, that is not exactly what I saw at the time, that is as it appears now... had a different SPL back then)

It doesn't show the model number at all! But I just soldiered on, held my breath, and started flashing and had no problems operating under the premise that I have a RHOD100, and have still had no problems to this day.

I have searched for anyone with the same but found nothing(except for a lot of threads telling people how to find their model number: "In bootloader look at the line with RHODXXX where XXX is a number(ie 100). That is your model." but for me that XXX is pretty much what I see!)

I just want to know, to satisfy my own insatiable curiousity:

Do any other Rhodium users see a similar model in their bootloader screen?

Can anyone explain to me why I have these ***'s where the model # should be?

Any ideas at all??

Thanks for reading, I appreciate ANY responses, and like I say this is not a big deal since EVERYTHING has and is working fine for me as a RHOD100. I am just curious!

This is mine:

Vodafone UK (factory unlocked) RHOD100. Euro 3G (GSM) model. Running Jackos S3 WWE (WM6.5) for what it's worth. Probably well overdue an OS update. ;)
