[Q] BT Headset Button Customization

I recently purchased a Plantronics Legend Bluetooth headset, it has 2 buttons on it, one of them when held auto opens Androids default voice commands. This works ok but is no where as intuitive as some of the other voice control apps such as utter, I am trying to find a way to link the shortcut for utter to that button or a way to have Android launch Utter instead of voice commands. I am currently on the newest stock gingerbread rom for Droid X and am rooted.
