[Q] build prop change for note 2 to note 3

Sorry if this posted somewhere else but I could not find in a search.

Does anybody know what needs to be changed in the build.prop to make it seem you have a note 3. Reason: I have a galaxy gear and got it work with I limited functionality on my note 2 on rooted stock rom 4.1.1. But flashed liquid smooth 4.3 jb in the hopes of gettting more functionality and when I installed the galaxygear manager apk it states that the device is not supported. So I was thinking that if the device states that it is a note 3 it might work. I know it works on non TW roms and non Samsung devices because I got it work on a HTC one. Any help would be appreciated.

Has anyone gotten the Galaxy Gear to work on a Note 2 yet? I bought a Galaxy Gear last Friday and wanted to use it on my Note 2 and downloaded a 4.3 custom ROM (Carbon) but it didn't work. When I tap the phone to the back of the Gear NFC Charging device it opens Samsung Apps and just locks up. It is supposed to download the Gear Watch app. I know Verizon is going to update the 4.3 ROM for the Note 2 and the Gear Watch is supposed to work then, but that's not until the end of November. I only have 2 weeks to play with the watch and either return it or keep it.:silly:

Anybody have any ideas?

Yeah, I checked it out. Didn't see a mention on the Gear though. Kinda bummed out. I want a TouchWiz based 4.3 ROM.

Guess I'll have to wait until the official one comes out and try it then.

The GG only works with TW ROMS none of the 4.3 leaks work WIP TW 4.3 MMS is not working on the phone and the KitKat ROM the radio wont turn on. GG will work on 4.2 TW but the weather, notifications and s-voice are non functional. You need to manually load the GearManager.apk. I can upload it if you need it.
