Hi guys, I'm JR and I'm new to the forum. I'm buying a used nook hd+ and would like to know what to look for and how I can make sure is a working unit. I'm purchasing the nook because I want to try to root it and use it as a gps on a really long trip we have during the winter. The lady said is about 3 month old and that is in good shape. Is there any way or procedure to check if everything works as it should? I have a droid razr maxx so I'm familiar with droid (this is my 2nd droid), but not an expert. I bought a new one with a 32gb and love it, but since i want to root it I don't want to use the new unit for that and I want to use it as a gps, again this is why im buying the used one.

Any help would be greatly appreciate it..

Thanks in advance.

you have to pair nook with your phone via Bluetooth for GPS

Also, some nook hd were shipped with buggy firmware on eMMC which can brick when you run Trim on it
