[Q] Bypass activation on JB

I don't have a SIM card. I tried the four corners trick from GB and the inside corners trick that worked on ICS, neither are letting me get around the welcome screen to finish the rooting process.

I got around the activation screen by installing apex launcher with adb.

adb -d install Apex_Launcher_1_4_1.apk

Then running the launcher

adb -d shell am start -n com.anddoes.launcher/com.anddoes.launcher.Launcher
Starting: Intent { cmp=com.anddoes.launcher/.Launcher }

From there Razr Blade was able to finish after going through the Smart Actions procedure.

Just click start and keep going on, it worked without sim card

didn't work, it gave me the option to dial an emergency number or shut down.

I killed the PID for com.motorola.blur.setup and the screen flashed briefly, then went back to the activation screen.

any other ideas?

Just found the hidden bypass method, I guess it's the corners still. Holding the phone vertically, it's the black space above the W in Welcome, the black space directly under the clock, the black space in bottom right hand corner next to Emergency call, and the black space at the bottom left next to Emergency call.

I was just trying to do this and holding the phone vertically didn't work but in landscape it did.

Back from the dead... confirmed landscape worked for me. Bottom corners slightly above bottom as stated.
