[Q] Can I unroot Motorold Defy running on CM9 without losing CM9?

Is it possible to unroot the phone and still continue to use the CM9 build that is already installed?
I want to do this to be able to use my phone securely for enterprise email using 'Good for Enterprise'.

Please suggest.

Install cm10. Its already more stable and has an option in settings for this.

Its in development>root access.

The same option is there in cm9 also. Would that make it safe enough to use with enterprise? Can I then say that the phone is not rooted when the root access check box is unchecked?
