So i have this device and rooting dosent work , it start tha deamon and it sets itself a port but it wont see the device ,even thou i personaly se the drivers by unpacking the exe and updating in device manager.
Whats very strange is that it see`s it as a android adb interface ,but it wont work witch byn4ry root or qmeu
THe only time that it works with is if i start the rooting process on the pc and i restart the device , and before start ,after 2 secon from i push the power button to turn it on it is seen in the root methods and it does what it needs to , but the problem is as soon as the actualy os is on it disconnects and i cant press the restore button ,what shoudi do.
I have a laptop running windows 8 x32
Shoud i try on another laptop runnng xp ?
I`m waiting for your opinnions :D

Ok so for the past three days I was encountering the same issues running Windows XP, KF2 V. 10.2.6 and my computer would not recognize my kindle even after installing adb drivers and a small window opening after the plug in and saying that an adb device was installed. After much research I was able to figure it out. These are the steps I took:

::FIRST THINGS FIRST::
the steps found on this link DO work; however as I stated above my computer refused to recognize my kf2.
Link:: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=36122126

Being that the adb drivers didn't work, on my windows xp, that were made available via QEMU's thread

Go to this link: https://developer.amazon.com/sdk/fire/setup.html#step4
and download then extract. Once this is done follow the steps listed.

Once this is done go back to this link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=36122126
{{{ i would suggest open Bin4arys root and Qemu in different tabs }}}
And follow the steps.

The first being Bin4rys Root steps.
Side note::When you get to the part of opening the RUNME.BAT have the kindle unplugged follow instructions and once prompted plug in the KF2.
The second being Qemu's root.
---Again all steps found on this link:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=36122126

Good luck, if you're confused just pm me and I will do my best to help out.
The downloading of the sdk manager took me awhile so be patient, it's totally worth the root because I basically have a fully capable android tablet.

Cheers!
